| Susan was born Sept. 28, 1963 in Georgia. Her first major acting role was playing Lorna on the daytime soap Loving in 1983. While working at Loving, she met her future husband, actor Linden Ashby, who played Curtis . Susan and Linden would marry in 1989, and they have two daughters, Grace (born June 1991), and Savanah (born Nov 1992). Susan and Linden would act together three more times in their careers. In 1997 Susan guest starred on the TV show Spy Game, a show starring Linden. In 1998 Susan joined the cast of Melrose Place for half the 1998 season, Linden played Dr. Brett "Coop" Cooper from 1997-1998. In 1999 they both appeared in the TV movie Where the Truth Lies. Susan is know by many for her guest role on Seinfeld in 1993. She played Jerry's new girlfriend, but he couldn't remember her name, he only knew that it rhymed with a female body part. Susan went blonde in 1996 for her role on the TV show The Big Easy, playing the role that was played by Ellen Barkin in the movie version. In 2001, Susan went back to her soap opera roots, joining the cast of The Young and the Restless playing Diane Jenkins. |
